Willie James Collins was born to the later Sam and Essie Collins inf Gulf Hammock, Florida. He passed away to his heavenly home on October 29, 2020.

Willie received his formal education in the Marion County Public School System. He worked at Ocala Lumber Company and later married Elvina R. Spencer of Kendrick, Florida. Willie was also preceded in death by his brother Ben Collins and sister Lucy Mae Daniels.

Willie Collins leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Mrs. Elvina R. Spencer-Collins; stepson: Michael E. Spencer; five brothers: Sam Collins, Willie Lee (Sylvia) Collins, Jimmy (Pat) Collins, Johnnie Collins all of Ocala and Raymond Collins of New Jersey; seven sisters: Pansy Samuel, Vera Collins, Lucilla Collins, Lou Ann Gates, Brenda (Joe) Bryant, Gloria Raines, and Karen Smith all of Ocala; mother-in-law: Marcella Spencer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl. 34475

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Willie Collins will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM., at Finley Community Cemetery.  

Interment will follow in Finley Community Cemetery.
