A Time to be Born:
Terri Knoten Goodman was born on April 8, 1963, to the late Wash Knoten and Alice June Henry in Cleburne, Texas.
A Time to Live:
Terri was educated in the Public Schools of Webb County, and went on to serve in the United States Army, retiring after ten years of service. She met and married Master Sargent Carlton James Goodman and to this union one child was born, Monica Nicole Brown. Terri gained employed by the United States Post Office in Atlanta, GA and later as a dedicated educator in Laredo, TX for two years. While in Atlanta she was a member of World Changers Ministries in College Park, GA until she moved to Ocala where she loved to visit Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. She was member of AKA Sorority.
A Time to Die:
God called Terri home to her final resting place at precisely 2:14 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020; and as she enters Glory her soul says …, “Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O‘God and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:9-10. Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Wash Knoten and Alice June Henry.
A Time to Mourn:
Left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing are a devoted husband for 29 year, Master Sargent Carlton James Goodman of Ocala; a daughter Monica Nicole Brown (Jerald) of Jonesboro, GA; two sisters, Robin Knoten Lee of Laredo, TX and Cassandra Knoten of Albuquerque, NM; three brothers, John Knoten of Las Vegas, NV, Washington Knoten, Kansas, KS and Max Knoten of Columbia, SC; Mother in law, Eudell Goodman of Ocala; eight grandchildren; four brother in laws, Bernard Goodman, Ronald Goodman (Shelia), Curtis Goodman (Deloris), Daryl Goodman (Sharon) all of Ocala; four sister in laws, Shelia Bynes, Marva Goodman-Gogdell, Cheryl Menchan and Regina Goodman all of Ocala; one Uncle, Arthur Rogers of Cleveland, TX; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Public viewing on Sunday February 16, 2020 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Goodman will be Monday, February 17, 2020 at 1:00pm at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Ocala, Fl.
Final Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Ocala, Florida
