QUEENIE BELL DAMON LITTLE

JULY 12, 1929  - OCTOBER 11, 2020

On Sunday, October 11, 2020 Queenie Bell Damon Little passed away peacefully at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlando and Victoria Damon and her loving husband of 62 years, Jimme Little. Queenie was educated in the public schools of Marion County, Florida and graduated with a degree in elementary education from Bethune Cookman College. She taught and retired from Marion County Public Schools in 1993.

Her lasting memories will be forever remembered by her children, James Milton (Maeleane) Little, Arlene (Eric) Boone, Sr., Wayne (Yvonne) Little, Sr., all of Ocala, Carl Daniel Little of Seffner; grandchildren, Adrian (Shanelle) Little of Lake Mary, Eric Boone, Jr. of Tampa,  Wayne (Latia) Little of Tampa,  Jamie Brian (Teri) Little of Brandon,  Erica Chambers of Ocala, Jamaal Little, Andre (Linsha) Wright, Erica (Ojay) Cummins, Crestie Fuller; great grandchildren, Jasmine Boone, Lauren Boone both of Tampa, Dorian and Donavan Little of Lake Mary, Malcom Little of Tampa, Serenity Chambers of Ocala; a special great granddaughter, Trinity Chambers of Ocala, Morgan, Raleah Cummins, Andre Wright, Jr and Andreanna Cummins of Ocala; sisters, Irene Donar, Eliza Damon and brother Harold Damon all of Ocala, along with many nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.

Queenie knew the importance of having a strong personal relationship with her Heavenly Father and at an early age she joined and faithfully served at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in various capacities until she received her call to come home from her Heavenly Father.

Queenie’s children and especially her grands and great grands were her heart and joy. There is no denying that there were times of pride and joy spent at Nana’s and great Nana’s house which were always special.

Love ones that cleared the path before her were, her parents, Orlando and Victoria Damon; husband Jimmie Little; sisters, Catherine Bradley, Mary Ann Lecorn, Victory Kiner, brothers Jack Damon and Albert Damon.

As our lives go on, we look forward to the day when we will meet again never to depart from each other as we fellowship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
