Olen was born on November 20, 1970, to the union of Olen Tucker and Nadeen James in Ocala, Florida. He received his formal education in the Pinellas County Public School System, graduating from Boca Ciega in Gulfport. Olen accepted Christ as his Savior and was united with Word of Life Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Middleton and later moved to Immerse Church in Ocala. He enjoyed playing basketball, driving big rigs and being with his brother Jerry. On October 25th Olen answered the Father ’s call and went home. He was preceded in death by grandparents Erma James and Nathaniel James his grandmothers Emma Hunter and Lena Gant. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Nadeen James - Gant (Bernard); two daughters Ashley Tucker of Ocala and O’Mariyah Tucker of Daytona Beach; one son Olen Tucker, Jr of Alabama University; brothers, Jerry (Shayla) Steele of Ocala, Leonard (Lylyian) Steele of Tampa, Milton James, Ralph James, Andre all of St. Petersburg, Larry Tucker or Orlando and Bernard, Jr of Ohio; four sisters, Lewanda (Anthony) of Tampa, Alicia of St. Petersburg, Minister Katrina (Emmanuel) of Ocala and Brittany (John) US Army, Italy; grandmother Myrtle James of Ocala; aunts, Gloria (Ron) of Ocala, Brenda (Jermaine) of Tampa, Ella Mae (Andrew) and Catherine all of Ocala, Mary, Arensia and Rena Pearl all of Carolina; uncles, Raymond Wheeler of Ocala, Edward (Rose), Vander (Yvonne) and Minister James Gant all of Carolina. A great host of nieces, nephews cousins and a great circle of sorrowing friends too numerous to mention by name, but you know who you are.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 3:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 3:00PM at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 728 NW 6th Ave. Ocala, Fl 34475.
