Marion Lyn Robinson

Marion Lyn Robinson was born on November 18, 1944, to Ollie James Robinson and Savilla Tanner Robinson in Santos, Florida.

Marion received her formal education through the Public School System of Marion County graduating from Belleview Santos High School in 1962 in Santos, Florida. She furthered her education at Central Florida Community College in Ocala.

She accepted Christ as Savior at an early age and was united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Summerfield where she served as President of the Usher Board, Financial Secretary and as a member of the Choir.

On July 6, 1964, Marion was united in Holy Matrimony to William “Syrup” Sesler in Ocala, their union had no children.

Marion was employed by Marion County School Board as a Bus Driver for over 21 years. She was the employee of the Year for the years of  1994 and 1995.

She loved spending time with her co-workers, family and friends.

Marion Lyn Robinson departed this life on September 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by both her parents Ollie James, Sr. and Savilla; stepdad, Joseph Croskey;  brothers, Willie and Ollie Jr.; sisters, Carolyn, Naomi and Sheryl Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Valarie Croskey Sims and her husband Lewis of Ocala and Gwendolyn Robinson of Miami; one sister in law, Ella Robinson of Ocala; 3 nieces; 9 nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00am at Little Chapel United Methodist Church, 2381 SE 73rd St, Ocala, Fl 34480.
