Mr. Lonnie Williams

September 29, 1924 ~ July 22, 2020

Mr. Lonnie Williams, was born on September 29, 1924 to John and Minnie Williams in Glenmora, LA.

Mr. Williams received his formal education in the Public Schools of Rapides Parish, LA in the city of Glenmora.

He met and married Mable Jennings and their union were blessed with three children.

Mr. Williams was employed for 25 years with the Seaboard Coastline until his retirement

In addition to his parents John and Minnie Williams, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Jennings Williams, his daughter, Etta M. Williams, his sister, Gussie M. Jones, and his brother Nathaniel Williams.

On July 22, 2020 Mr. Lonnie Williams traded this life of pain, sorrow and disappointments and went home to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his son, Lonnie Williams, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; his daughter, Hilda Williams Reece, and her husband, Howard Reece, Jr. of Belleview, FL; 15 grandchildren; 7 nieces and 2 nephews; a host of cousins and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00am at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Florida 34475.

Social Distancing and mask must be worn at the request of the family.
