Linda Faye "Kitty" Jamerson

Linda Faye "Kitty" Jamerson was born on May 7th, 1956, to parents were the late Booker T. Smith and Rosetta Smith-Lowery. 

She was married to Lucious Jamerson Jr. for 48 years.

Linda worked as an Educational Paraprofessional with the Alachua County School Board. She attended Marion County Public Schools. She retired after she became ill. She rejoined Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.

Linda Faye Jamerson departed this life on February 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father: Booker T. Smith; sister: Ruby Smith-Rowe; grandmother: Ollie Johnson; aunts: Mary Clark, Emma Smith, and Carolyn Jamerson; in-laws; Lucious & Ella Mae Jamerson Sr.

Linda leaves a legacy of loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband; Lucious Jamerson Jr.; two sons; Lorenzo Smith and  Lucious Gerald(Tiffany) Jamerson of Orange Lake, FL; Mother: Rosetta Smith-Lowery of Ocala, FL; two devoted aunts: Dollie Strong, Almetta Mitchell of  Orange Lake, FL, and aunt Evelyn Clay of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren: Lebresha, Takaya, Gerald, Lyric, Mikell, Syntheria, Bryant, Dyemond Smith; great grandchild: J’meriyah; siblings: Betty Latimer of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Brenda (Al) Jones of Alachua, FL, Rosa (Ronald Sr.) McDavid of Orange Lake, Gary (Mamie) Lowery of Eatonville, FL, Doris Lowery of Orange Lake, Bernadine Lowery, Debra (John) Brown and Sabrina (Jarvis Sr.) Barber of Ocala, FL; Other Siblings: Rev. Shirley Fountain, Norma, Larry, Ivory, Barbara, and Terry Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday March3, 2023, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 1:00pm at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 5717 West Hwy 318, Orange Lake, FL 32681.
