Karolyn Bell Mobley

Karolyn was born on December 22, 1975 in Miami, Florida to Theodore Phillips and Earlene Harrington.

She was educated in the Public Schools of Marion County and was a graduate of Forest High School, class of 1995. In 2003 Karolyn married Kerry Wayne Mobley, their union was blessed with four children.

Karolyn was employed with Hampton Manor Nursing Home as a house keeper and with Kotobuki Japanese Steak house as a line cook.

She loved spending time with her children, cooking, and college fundraisers. She would cook for and with the “Men Working to Better the Community” raising funds for college scholarships. She had a heart pure as gold.

After a lengthy illness Karolyn went home to be with the Father on February 16, 2021 from Ocala Regional Hospital. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15 ESV.

She was preceded in death by her Twin brother, Kelvin “Pap” Bell.

Karolyn is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Kerry Mobley; her children, Marques Young, Martavius Mobley, Maliky Mobley, Makyla Mobley, Dana Avant, Tasha West, Sharonta Williams, Danielle Franklin, Kelvin Williams, Rodney Williams and Marvin Rushin; Her loving mother, Earlene Harrington; her siblings, Michon Harrington, Sylvester Bell (Letitia), Demeatrious Grammage and Dwendlyn Perry; special aunt, Norma Riley; sisters-in-laws, Helen Hagins, Mary Poole, Gwen Rollins, Mary E. Mobley, Jeannette Mobley and Frankie Mobley; brother-in-laws, Jerry Mobley, Donnie Ray Bradley and John Peters; special friends, Rosa Jones and Angela Jones; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Celebration of Life for Sister Karolyn Bee Mobley will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery 13425 County Road 475 Ocala, FL 34480 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
