Obituary

Juanita Gordon-Williams was born on December 9, 1951, to Thomas Gordon Sr. and Eva Presley-Simmons in Orange Lake, Florida.

Juanita received her formal education in Marion County School System, graduating from Fessenden High School in Ocala, Florida.

She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Reddick Church of God where she served on the Praise Team and Women’s Ministry.

Juanita was united in holy matrimony with Ralph Williams on January 1, 1989, in Reddick, Fl.

Their union was blessed with 6 children.

She was employed by Waldron Produce Inc as a Head Contractor for over 40 years and Personal Contractor Carrier for Ocala Star-Banner for 15 years.

In her leisure, she enjoyed fishing, joy riding, spreading the Love and Gospel of Christ.

Juanita Williams departed this life on July 18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eva Mae Presley-Simmons, Father Thomas Gordon; brothers: Wardell, David Sr., Joesph, and Levi Gordon Sr.; grandson Devin Barron and great granddaughter Aylah Gillespie. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her children Richard White, Angela Barron, Miller Barron III, Craig Barron, Sr., Katonna (Damien) Mitchem, Jiris (Santana) Manns; siblings: Ella Mae Gordon, Annie Sweet, Surwena (Tommy) Myers, Katrina (Alphonso) Lamar, Luctricia Dove; George (Charlene) Simmons; 35 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; special friend Royzell Heflin; two sisters-in-law: Catherine and Marilyn; a special niece Clara McIntyre, host of nieces, nephews, spiritual children and friends.

Public viewing for Ms. Juanita Williams will be Friday, July 28, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Florida 34475.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Reddick Church of God, 15670 NW Gainesville Rd. Reddick, FL 32686.
