Joseph C. Chisholm, Jr. was born on December 25, 1944 to Joseph and Julia Mae Chisholm in Morriston, Florida.
He received his formal education at Pine Grove School, Blitchton and Howard High School.
Joseph accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Mars Hill Baptist Church in Marion County.
Joseph was employed by Walban Trucking Company as a professional truck driver for many years and he owned his own trucking business when he retired. He was a member of the Professional Truck Drivers Association.
His hobbies included fishing and motorcycle riding.
On February 13, 2022 Joseph answered the Master's call and went home to be with God. He was preceded in death by both is parents, Joseph Sr. and Julia Mae Chisholm; his brothers, Nathaniel “Bubba” Chisholm and Edward “Eugene" Chisholm.
Joseph is survived by a special “angel”, caregiver, and significant other, June Spicer; two sons, Fred W. Chisholm and Christopher (Marilyn) Chisholm; one daughter, Keyera Chisholm; children he raised Darise D. Middleton, Vivian Foreman, and Craig Middleton; three sisters, Olivia (Clarence) Woods, Rhoda Chisholm and Ruth Chisholm; a wealth of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life services for Mr. Joseph C Chisholm Jr, will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Morriston, Fl. 32668.
