Jeffery Lynn Scott, Jr

Jeffery Lynn Scott Jr. was born August 1, 1977 to the late Jeffery Lynn Scott Sr. and Sharon Washington Scott Huff.

Jeffery’s early education began in the Marion County Public School System. As a child he grew up in St. Paul A.M.E Church.

He was loved by many, on November 4, 2021 Jeffery answered the Master's call peacefully as he transitioned into his heavenly home.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his father Jeffery Lynn Scott, Sr., his son Jeffery Lynn Scott III, his daughter Ayanna Lynnia Scott, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ike (Stella) Scott Sr., Mrs. Aldora G. Kimble-Washington and Mr. Albert L. Washington, Sr..

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother Sharon (Ray) Scott Huff; one son Quantre’ Scott Sr.; two sisters Crystal Scott (Orlando, FL), Tiffany Scott (Ocala, FL); seven aunts, Wanda Washington-Allen (Ocala, FL), Pricilla Scott (Virginia), Patricia (Joe) Salvage (St. Pete, FL), Pamela Scott (Alabama), Darcy Broadnax (Live Oak, FL), Selestine Poole (Ocala, FL), Valerie Williams-Cuadra (Ocala, FL); five uncles, Harrell (Joyce) Washington Sr. (Jacksonville, FL), Albert Washington Jr., Ike Scott Jr. (Ocala, FL), Bernard (April) Scott (Ocala, FL), Larry (Debra) Scott (Orlando, FL); Great aunt Evelyn Kimble (Ocala, FL); Devoted cousins, Kimberly Montgomery (Ocala, FL) Harrell (Sakenia) Washington Jr. (Jacksonville, FL), Ashley Washington (Savannah), Arneisha Tanner (Ocala, FL), Jaelan McDonald (Ocala, FL); Grand children, Quantre Scott Jr. and Josiah Laster (Ocala, FL); God parents, Cynthia Woods and Ruth Wilkerson (Ocala, FL); God sisters, Kymberli Powers and Dakita Floyd (Ocala, FL); Special childhood friends, Tory, Dawadrain, Kadron, Quong, Zelvin and Larneshara Clark all of Tennessee and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday November 19, 2021 at 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.

Celebration of Life services for Mr. Jeffery Lynn Scott, Jr. will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Chestnut Cemetery. Ocala, FL 34471.
