Jeanette Jacobs

Ms. Jeanette Henrietta Jacobs was born on September 1, 1938. She slipped away to Heaven on March 15, 2022.

 Ms. Jacobs accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Sparr, Florida.

 She was a graduate of Fessenden High School. Ms. Jacobs worked for the Marion County School Board for 30 years until her retirement. In her retirement, Ms. Jacobs enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, reading her Bible, tending to her flower garden and traveling the world.

She was preceded in death by her eldest grandson, Khallid Michael Morris of Las Vegas, Nevada; her parents Lawyer Jacobs, Sr. and Jannie L. Bagley as well as all of her siblings. 

Mourning her passing are her two heartbeats, son Michael C. Morris (U.S. Army Retired) of Rockledge, Florida and daughter Anna M. Morris (U.S. Air Force Retired) of Bedford, Massachusetts. Her grandson, Brycson Morris of Reddick, Florida.

Also, mourning her passing is her devoted friend (and Michael’s Godmother) Ms. Almetta Mitchell; four goddaughters, Sylvia Johnson, Kyzer McKeever, Kandyce Galloway, and A’lahni-Renee Thompson all of Ocala, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  Ms. Jacobs will be deeply missed by her children, extended family and friends.

At the family's request no Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, but the register book will be available to sign.

Celebration of Life services for Ms. Jeanette H. Jacobs will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:30 AM, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 2350 NE 140th St, Sparr, Fl 32192.
