Iris Michelle Nichols was born on May 13, 1970, to Bruce Nichols and Willie Mae Williams-McCloud in Gainesville, Florida.
Iris attended the public schools of Marion County, Florida graduating from North Marion High School in Citra, with the class of 1988. She went on to further her education in an Albany Georgia Trade School.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae McCloud; grandmother, Bennie Mae Blunt; stepdad, Izell McCloud; granddad, Phillip Blunt; four uncles, Eddie Williams, Roy Lee Brown, Levi Williams and Carl Williams; one aunt, Sharon McCloud.
Though her earthly journey was shorter than we hoped, her life blossomed in love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She leaves behind the fragrance of her kindness and the color of her spirit, forever blooming in the hearts of those she touched.
She leaves behind her dad Bruce Nichols. To cherish her memory are two brothers, Bruce Nichols, Jr. (Janice), Marlon Nichols; four sisters, Kristie McCloud, Rozina Castor (Darryl), Denise Nichols-Ferman (Kelvin), and Regina Nichols; two aunts, Connie Williams (Ralph McNeal), Joyce Wilson (Bernard); four uncles, Curtis Williams (Bernadine), Arnold Gasken (Teresa), Gregory McClenton and Mitchell McClenton (Gena); nephew, Kei-van Castor, A host of nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 11 2025, at 11:00am at Summers Funeral Home Chapel, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl 34475.
