Henry Lee Baker, Sr was born on May 13, 1947, to Willie Lee “Buddie Lee” Baker and Mae Retha Bush- Sheffield in Albany Georgia.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Dougherty County. He furthered his education at the Georgia Technical School focusing on Auto Mechanic.
Henry accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. After transiting to Ocala, he was united with Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
Henry Lee Baker, Sr. was united in Holy matrimony with Clyreatha Diane Jones on May 14, 1993, in Ocala. The Union between Henry Lee and Clyreatha Diane Jones-Baker was blessed with two beautiful children.
Henry worked as an auto painter and auto mechanic for over 30 years in Orlando. He enjoyed, of course, working on cars, drag racing and just tinkering around with whatever his hands could find to do.
The Father in His infinite wisdom and power called for Henry Lee Baker, Sr. to come home on Friday, February 3, 2023. He will join loved ones that has gone on before him, his mother, Mae Reatha Bush-Sheffield; father, Willie Lee “Buddie Lee” Baker; brothers, Ozell Davis, A D Davis, MC “Buddy” Sheffield, Freddie Baker, Clarence Baker and Eddie Lee Baker; sister, Johnnie Jest; stepmom, Ora Lee Johnson and his wife, Clareatha Diane Jones-Baker.
Henry Lee Baker, Sr., leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sharon Baker, Henry Baker, Jr., Chantell Baker, Anthony Oliver, Benita (Wallace) Lookadoo, Derrick (Bernita) Baker, Tijauna Baker (Mark), Chris Baker, Kyrone Jones (Kathy), Angela Davis and Taegren “Tio” (Lakeya) Jones; 28 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Enzie Sheffield Mackeroy of Daytona, Arma Sheffield-Howard of Orlando, Shirley Ann Sheffield Gosna (Charles) of Albany, Jeanette Sheffield-Fulse (Larry) of Ocala, Mattie Evans of North Carolina, Frankie Hudson, Wynell Spann (John), Susanne Johnson, Cassandra Johnson all of Newton, GA and Sheila Faye Johnson of Albany; brother, Curtis Sheffield of Jacksonville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life for will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00am at Ebenezer Independent Free Methodist Church, 5595 West Highway 326 Ocala, FL. 34482.
