Helen Gordon Nichols

Helen Gordon Nichols was born on March 19, 1932, to Sarah Helen Jackson and Willie Gordon in Weirsdale, Florida.

Helen G. Nichols received her formal education in the Marion County School System in Ocala, Florida. She furthered her education at Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida.

Helen accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Greater Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

Helen was united in holy matrimony with Eugene Nichols on October 30, 1995, in Ocala, Florida.

She was employed by Marion County School Board, Dr. Ernest Lamb’s office, and Helen Nichols Group Home.

In her leisure, she enjoyed crocheting, fishing, attending church, loving and caring for others and her family.

Helen Nichols departed this life on January 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her brother Hubert Gordon, Mother Sarah Jackson, and Father Willie Gordon.

She leaves to cherish her memory loving spouse Eugene Nichols; daughter: Lisa (Daryl) Rice; sons: William Jerome Johnson III, and Barry Robinson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 3:00pm at Greater Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, Ocala, Florida, 34475
