Helen B. Frett was born on December 1, 1933 to the union of Nelder Blige & Rosanna Polite in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
Helen was educated in the public school system in Bronx, New York and went to college in Brooklyn and received an AA Degree in Nursing.
On February 15, 1958 Helen Blige was united in holy matrimony with Joseph E. Frett in the Bronx, New York. Their union was blessed with five children
She accepted Christ as Savior in December of 1961 and united with Bethel SDA Church.
As an entrepreneur Helen was the founder and owner of Little Eden Home 1 & 2 and retired after thirteen years.
Her hobbies included baking with her husband which she enjoyed.
On January 17, 2022, Helen B. Frett answered the Master’s call and went home to be with God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Frett; her parents Rosanna & Nelder Blige; two sisters, Elizabeth Mitchell and Sadie Mae Blige; four brothers, Nelder Blige, Jr., Frank Blige, Horace Blige and Samuel Blige.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Dorian Hillary, Derrick Frett, Daryl Frett (Tonya), Dale Frett and Darlene Frett; stepchildren: Gerald Frett, Karen Frett, Orlanzo Frett and Bettito Frett; sister: Rosa Stevens; grandchildren: Devin Frett, Brenda Franklin, Demarias Stocker, Kayla Frett (Tyrone), Sasha Frett, Brittany Frett, Nile Frett (Amber), Jordon Frett and Kishon Frett; 14 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11:00 until 4:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.
Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Helen B Frett will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 500 SW 17th Ave., Ocala, Fl 34471.
