Gwendolyn Louise Croskey

Croskey, Gwendolyn Louise was born on March 29, 1948 to the late George Toney and Betty Gadson in Summerfield, Florida.

Educated in the Public Schools of Marion County, graduating from Belleview Santos High School, Class of 1966, furthering her education at Edward Waters College and Central Florida Community College, School of Cosmetology, she also received a bachelor’s degree.

Gwendolyn accepted Christ as Savoir at an early age and enjoyed serving the Lord.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Warnell Croskey Sr. for 47 years. This union was blessed with two children, Warnell, Jr. and Wayland.

Gwendolyn was a beautician in Marion County for over 35 years. She had a genuine love for people and loved laughing.

Her hobbies were fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Gwendolyn was preceded in the death by her parents, George Toney and Betty Gadson-Favors; her stepfather, John Favors Jr., and her sister, Kasandra Gadson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her loving husband Warnell Croskey Sr.; two sons: Warnell Croskey Jr. (Zekeya), and Wayland Croskey; three sisters, Betty Jo Hawkins, Georgia Gadsden, and Margie Toney; two brothers, Dennis Favors and John Favors, III; four grandchildren, Trayonna Croskey, Destiny Croskey, Nikeya M.     Croskey, and Warnell F. Croskey III; five great grandchildren, Qamara Renae Holt, Qa’Leah Janae Holt, Leonardo Antwane Edwards III, Sanyia Marie McCallum, and Tyleea Rishenna Edwards; one uncle, two aunts, a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"No Public viewing at the request of family". The Memorial Book can be signed  on Friday January 3, 2020 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Croskey will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 2701 SE 73rd Street, Ocala, Fl. 34480

Final Interment will follow in Burrell Cemetery, Santo, Florida
