Freddie Woodson was born on June 10, 1943, to Walter Woodson and Rosetta Cohen in Ocala, FL.
So go and run free with the angels, dance around the golden clouds for the Lord has chosen you to be with Him and we should feel nothing but proud.
Freddie received his formal education in the public schools of Marion County.
He was of the Christian faith.
Although He has taken you from us, And our pain a lifetime will last your memory will never escape us but make us glad for the time we did have.
Freddie enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and spending time talking with family and friends.
He departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023,
He was preceded in death by both his parents; two brothers, Robert Woodson and Tommy Lee Woodson; his sister, Clara Mae Summers; one daughter, Pamela Woodson.
So go and run free with the angels as they sing so tenderly and please be sure to tell them to take good care of you for me.
Left to cherish precious memories are his children: Jacqueline Devoe-Stewart (Elbert), Andreas Morand (Jimmie), Lafreda Woodson-Ashley, Sandra Woodson-Pasmore (Donovan) and Freda Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023, at 1:00pm until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.
Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday September 17, 2023, at 1:00pm at New St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church 4491 NW 27th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34475.
