Frank James Baker

Frank James Baker Jr., 65 was born October 20, 1956 to David Galloway and Leila Baker in Quitman Georgia.

Frank received his formal education through Marion County Public School System in Citra, Florida. He accepted Christ as his Savior in 1979 at the age of 22 and was united with Bibleway Progressive Church of God where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, and Assistance Pastor.

Frank Baker was united in holy matrimony with Pertina Davis on August 13, 1976, in Quitman Georgia. Their union was blessed with one child.

He was employed by City of Ocala in Public Works Department for 11 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with grandchildren. He was the Founder and Pastor of Covenant Outreach Ministries Church of God.

Pastor Frank Baker departed this life on January 7, 2022. He was preceded in the by his parents Leila and David Galloway, brother David Galloway Jr., Warren Galloway and sister Linda Munnerlyn.

Frank leaves to cherish his loving memories: a devoted and faithful wife of 45 years Pertina Baker; daughter: Alisa (Jeffery) Kingcade; two grandchildren: Michael and Shakria Randolph; one great grandson: Angel King; six brothers, five sisters; two godchildren: Kyiah Barr and Bennie Munnerlyn, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.

Celebration of Life services for Pastor Frank J. Baker will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Bibleway Progressive Church of God, 1750 NE 175th St, Citra, Fl 32113.
