A Time to be Born:

Ebone Me'chele Scriven was born on August 7, 1987 to Paul Scriven and Regina Goodman in Ocala.

A Time to Live:

Ebone was educated in the public schools of Marion County. She was baptized at an early age in New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. During her youth she served in the Junior Choir, Ebone has one son, Derrick Ramone James, Jr. Due to health issues Ebone did not work outside of the home. She was a Mary Kay Consultant.

A Time to Die:

God called Ebone home to her final resting place on Friday, May 21, 2021; and as she enters Glory her souls says … “Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities, create in me a clean heart, O’ God and renew a right spirit in me.” Psalm 51:9-10

A Time to Mourn:

Left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing is her son, Derrick Ramone James, Jr. of Ocala; parents, Paul Scriven and Regina Goodman of Ocala; four sisters, Mariel Angelique Mayo of Ocala, Pauteka Scriven and Nautica Scriven both of Tampa and Samantha Scriven of Easley, NC; six brothers, Paul H. Scriven of Orlando, Jabari White, Paul C. Scriven, Dominque Brown, Tristan Scriven, P. Shanard McNair and McKenzey Johnson (deceased)  his wife Salisa; Grandmothers, Eudell Goodman and Sarah Scriven both of Ocala; five aunts, Shelia Bynes, Marva Goodman-Cogdell, Cheryl Menchan, Eunice Franklin (Demetrius) all of Ocala; five uncles, Bernard Goodman, Ronald Goodman (Shelia), Carlton Goodman, Curtis Goodman (Deloris) and Daryl Goodman (Sharon) all of Ocala; one great Aunt, Launa Bellamy, one great great aunt, Mollie Smith (Leon), two very special friends, Shenae Preston and Kdarian Flowers; a host of cousins and friends.

Public viewing for Miss. Ebone Me'chele Scriven will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street. Ocala, FL. 34475

Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, 10:00 AM at New Jerusalem Memorial Garden, 9010 SW 34th Place, Ocala Florida 34481,

Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Memorial Garden.
