Dwight Jerome Taylor was born on March 12, 1961 to Robert and Julia Taylor in Ocala, Florida.
He received his formal education at North Marion High School in Citra, Florida. After graduating from high school, he enlisted into the United States Army.
Dwight Taylor accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church and later moved his membership to House of Prayer Apostolic Church Inc.
He was employed by Castlerock Sitework Inc. as a Truck Foreman for 20 years. In his leisure he enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and helping others.
Dwight Jerome Taylor departed this life on June 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his brother: Ercell Taylor, sister-in-law: Vanessa Taylor, father: Robert Taylor Sr., niece: Marvia Taylor Brown, mother: Julia Cook Taylor, and uncle Frank Woods Sr.
Dwight leaves to cherish his memories a son: Gregory Foster; six brothers: Robert Taylor Jr. (Doris), Ronald Taylor (Althea), Clyde Taylor (Gail), Kenneth Taylor (Yolanda), Curtis Taylor, and Joseph Suggs ( Joyce); two sisters: Youndla Taylor and Lisa Taylor; two granddaughters: Shi'Ni Foster and Za'Riyanna Foster; two aunts: Shirley Woods and Dora Mae Fletcher, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Services for Mr. Dwight Taylor will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00am at Progressive Union Cemetery, 4885 W Hwy 326, Ocala, Florida.
