It is with both deep sorrow and gratitude that the Gilyard Family announces the passing of our beloved matriarch, Dimple “Mudear” Gilyard. In this time of loss, we take comfort in our faith and the belief that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our mother passed away peacefully in her sleep. We kindly ask for your prayers as we trust in the perfection of God’s will and the wisdom of His providence.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.

Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Dimple Gilyard will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 12:00pm at Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, 500 SW 17th Ave., Ocala, Fl 34471, Pastor Antwon Mells will officiate.
