Derrick Alexander

Derrick was born on January 14, 1986, to Curtis Alexander and Bessie Fisher in Ocala, Florida.

He was converted at an early age at Stanton First Baptist Church in Weirsdale, Florida where he was a faithful member.

He attended Stanton Elementary School. Lake Weir Middle School and received his GED in 2002.

Derrick Alexander departed this life on January 6, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his brother Brandon Alexander.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father Curtis Alexander Sr. and mother Bessie Alexander both of Texas; brother C.J. Alexander, four uncles Melvin Glover (Hanna), Dainel Fisher, Amos Alexander (Wendy), and Johnny Glover; three aunts Lila Glover, Luweaver Glover and Pauline Alexander; one niece Beyonta Alexander, one nephew Titus Alexander, a host of cousins and sowing friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 3:00pm at Stanton First Baptist Church, 15985 SE 140th Ave., Weirsdale, Florida, 32195.
