It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darian Lamar Kendrick, aged 55, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Ocala Florida, surrounded by his family.
Darian was born on January 9, 1970, in Ocala, Florida to Albert Oliver and Irene Kendrick.
Darian was a chef who enjoyed cooking for others and seasoned all his food with love. He enjoyed fishing, a good game of cards and gardening.
Darian was a loving father and Pops and a God-loving man who enjoyed spending time with all of his family.
Darian was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Kendrick and Albert Oliver and his oldest daughter Erienne Kendrick along with his sisters Carrie Weems, Lydia Weems, and Essie Mae “Tina” Weems and Marilyn Hope.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Abigail Kendrick and Sarah Kendrick; brothers, Tony Kendrick and John Oliver; sisters: Sorena Kendrick, Irene “Tootsie” Harley, Maedell Weems, Gloria Weems, Christine Weems, Erica Oliver and Shawn Oliver; a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and co-workers.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7,2025, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, FL 34475.
Graveside Services for Mr. Darian Kendrick will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00am, at Chestnut Cemetery, 698 NW 13th Terrace, Ocala, FL 34475.
