Daisy Williams

Mrs. Daisy Williams was born on September 2, 1926, in Watertown, FL.

Daisy was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Williston Nursing Home.

Daisy, a church going woman, also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Kindness was her calling card as Daisy always had her home open to family members and friends if they needed somewhere to live.

She raised seven of her fifteen grandchildren as was vital in the care of her late stepdaughter, Ms. Helen Williams. Daisy was well known in the Williston and Leesburg communities for her efforts in feeding the homeless.

She was an amazing wife, a dedicated mother, and truly a "great” grandmother to many. Daisy was just a loving and caring human being.

God called Daisy home on December 14, 2020 in Leesburg, FL. She joins her Husband (Mr. Booker T. Williams) of Leesburg, FL; Mother (Emma Mae Williams) of Williston, FL; Father Pinky Williams (Watertown, FL); Daughter (Marvis Floyd Davis) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Stepdaughter (Helen Williams).

Daisy leaves her Son: Nathaniel and (wife) Loretta Williams of Gainesville, FL; Sister, Lizzie Mae Joyce of Jacksonville, FL; Brother, Rudolph Joyce of Charleston, South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, fifty-nine greatgrandchildren, twenty-five great great grandchildren. Niece Charlene Lacy of Leesburg, FL; Close personal friends Twila Johnson, Peggy Ann Sims, and late Mrs. Rosa Lee). Daisy will be truly miss

Public viewing on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl. 34475

A Celebration of Life for Sister Daisy Williams will be on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM., at New Hope Cemetery, Williston, FL.  

Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Williston, FL..
