Clyde Leneal Taylor was born on June 23, 1953, to the union of Robert Taylor and Julia Cook Taylor in Ocala, Florida. He received his formal education from North Marion High School in Citra.
On December 15, 1984, Clyde was united in Holy matrimony with Gale Edmondson in Fort Lauderdale, and their union was blessed with 2 children.
On September 4, 2011, at the age of 58 years old he received Christ as his personal Savior and was united with Mount Hermon A. M. E. Church in Fort Lauderdale, where he served in several positions. And was a member of the Sons of Allen a component with the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Clyde enjoyed talking trash, fishing and driving fast.
His survivors include his loving wife Gale Taylor; son Adrian L. Edmondson (Latrecia) and his daughter Kyinte T. Stafford (Albert); his brothers, Robert Taylor, Jr. (Doris); Ron Taylor, Kenneth Taylor (Yolanda), Curtis Taylor and Bubba Suggs (Joyce); sisters, Youndla Taylor and Lisa Taylor; grandchildren, Adrian Edmondson, Jr., Tyreece Johnson, Jovonte Sams, Keyshawn Thompson, LaShae Edmondson and Janae Smith; a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 24, 2022, at 10:00am at Progressive Union Cemetery 4885 West Hwy 326, Ocala, FL 34482.
