Obituary

"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life ..." John 5: 28 & 29

Charity was born March 31, 1975. She is the only child of her mother, Sarah Johnson. Her father, who is deceased, was Willie Hubbard Jr.

Charity loved Jehovah and wished to get baptized as a Jehovah's witness. She enjoyed talking to people and always looked for ways to reach their heart. She would talk to different ones about Jehovah and the Bible. She totally relied on our heavenly Father. She believed in prayer and studying God's word. She believed in Solomon's words at Ecclesiastes 12: 13 which says, "The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man."

She absolutely loved teaching students, which goes without saying that she enjoyed her job as a clinical nursing instructor, which had to be shortened because of illness. While in the hospital, she would sometimes encounter some of her former students and would sometimes give them more instruction. She also tried to teach her nurses and gave her doctors suggestions.

Since Charity was passionate about dancing and music, she had planned to open a dance studio for kids. She had an appreciation for all different types of music.

Because of her love for animals, as a teenager she wanted to become a veterinarian. Although she didn't become a vet, her love for animals didn't cease and she ended up with a cat (Oreo) that she truly loved.

She also wanted big cats like lions and tigers as pets in the new world.

Charity was a devoted mother. She loved her children and was always trying to teach them the important things of life so that they could have a good future. She taught them how to interact with others in a way that Jehovah would be proud of. She took Matthew 7:12 ("All things, that you want men to do to you, you also must do to them...") to heart.

She would put her children ahead of herself. She got her parenting skills from her grandfather whom she loved dearly. She believed in a loving mother/daughter relationship. She would look for ways to make her mother happy. She wanted nothing but the best for her mom. She would always say, "Mom, I love you."

Friendship meant a lot to Charity. She thought of her friends as family and did her best to provide support for her friends if necessary. She believed in staying true to the words at Proverbs 18: 24 which states, “… there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." Job 14: 15

She was predeceased by her dad, Willie Hubbard, Jr., and one Uncle Rudolph Johnson.

Charity is survived by two children: Christasia S. King and Cayden C. Blunt; her mother, Sarah Johnson; three uncles, Robert Johnson (Sandra), Alton Johnson (Frances), and Henry Johnson Jr. (Linda); her aunt, Priscilla Johnson; a host grieving cousins, grieving brothers, and sisters; other grieving relatives and friends.
