Omega: On December 2, 2023, on a Saturday morning, God’s angels came to take Catherine to be with the Lord.

Catherine was a faithful member of Debose Chapel Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for numerous years, and she sang with the Heavenly Band Choir Union. She enjoyed her family, the things that God blessed her with in life and creating memories with the ones she loved. She impacted the hearts of so many and leaves behind a LEGACY of love, laughter and happiness.

Martin Smith), Leonna Wheeler and Georgia Lucas Sons: Roger Wheeler (Vielka Wheeler) and Aaron Wheeler; Grandchildren: Latanya Blunt, Victor Wheeler, Garrick Barron, Shuronna Wilson, Russell Blunt, Alfred Wheeler Jr, Tijuana DeBose, ThelRhonda Wims, Rashena Wheeler, Brandon Blunt, Benton Cromwell, Marcus Hughes, Latea Edwards, Takara Lewis, Alvin Wheeler Jr, Chambria Wheeler, Aronti Wheeler, Kendall Wheeler, Radja Wheeler, Aaron Wheeler II and Azarii Wheeler; Great Grands: 41; Great Great Grands: 17 ; Brother: Abraham Johnson; Step Children: Darlene Hillary (Robert); Pamela Daniels and Jacqueline Edwards (Clarence); Children Proceeded in Death: Alfred J. Wheeler Sr., Alvin L. Wheeler Sr. and Wilhelmina Wheeler-Robinson; Deceased Great Grand Children: Victor J. Wheeler Jr., and Giovanni M. Munnerlyn. Sister-in- Laws: Leola Riley and Mable Wheeler. Brother in Laws: Benjamin Starker and Deighton Gilkes, Sr., She also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other friends. Her godchildren are Regina Dennison, Tammy Reeves and Tyra Ponder.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, FL 34475.

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Catherine Wheeler will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Debose Chapel United Methodist Church, 2570 NW 145th Street, Citra, FL 32113.
