Cornelia Walker Dickson was born on June 11, 1961 to late John Jackson and late Thelma Walker in Pelham, Georgia.
She was educated in the Public Schools of Grady County, Georgia; graduating from Cairo High school in Cairo, Georgia.
She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
On February 14, 1992 she married Leon Dickson, Sr. in Ocala, Fl. She was employed by ARC Marion as a Healthcare provider for five years. Prior to working at ARC she was a bus driver for Marion County School Board. Cornelia loved spending time with her daughter Genea “Peaches” Dickson.
Cornelia was preceded in death by the love of her life her husband, Leon. both parents and her brother, Charlie Walker.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Genea “Peaches” Dickson of Ocala, Fl, two bonus sons Leon Dickson, Jr and Joshua Dickson of Newport News, Virginia; sibling, Kenneth Walker of Ocala, FL, Tony Jackson and John Jackson, Jr of Tampa, FL; Aunts, Mamie Cox and Victoria Walker; uncle, Lonnie Walker, Sr.; two nephews Seddrick Walker and Lawarren Carter of Ocala, FL; two nieces Jackie Adams and Destiny Walker; six great nieces and nephews; one loving godson, Devon Walker of Ocala, FL and a host of cousins and friends.
Public viewing for Mrs. Carelia Walker Dickson will be Friday, August 27, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street. Ocala, FL. 34475
Celebration of Life (Graveside) services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Faith (Lincoln) Memorial Garden, 3000 NW Blitchton Rd. Ocala, FL 34475.
Interment will follow in Faith (Lincoln) Memorial Garden .
