Cherished Memories:

Bernard leaves behind a devoted and loving wife Joyce Franklin; three daughters: Flora Fray of Ocala, FL, Brenda Franklin of Gadsden, AL, and Brittany Franklin of Ocala, FL; two sons: Kenya Franklin and Bernard Jr. both of Ocala, FL; four grandchildren: Tasheona Dowdy, Malik Wilson, Tyreese Fray of Ocala, FL and Brielle (Dumplin’) Hood of Gadsden, AL; two brothers: Mark (Theresa) Franklin of Summerfield, FL and Benjamin (Chiquita) Franklin of Ocala, FL; two sisters: Vera (James) Curry and Patricia (Charles) Brown both of Ocala, FL; six sisters in-law and four brothers in-law all of Ocala, FL; a devoted aunt: Bertha Lewis of Wildwood, FL; a devoted nephew: Kimare Lane of Ocala, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends and a best friend, Vipond Poole.

Bernard was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Mark Franklin; two brothers: Albert Franklin, Sr. and Pastor Samuel Franklin; one sister: Beverly Johnson.

Public Viewing will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1:00 PM til 6:00 PM. at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St. Ocala, Florida.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14486 West Highway # 326, Morriston, FL 34475

Final Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Morriston, FL.
