Beatrice Elizabeth Adkins-Webster was born in Ocala, Florida on August 28, 1940, to the late Obadiah Adkins and Louise Cunningham.
Beatrice received her formal education in the public school of Marion County, Florida, graduating from Belleview Santos High School with the Class of 1958 in Belleview.
She accepted Christ as her Saviour and was united with Calvary Baptist Church where she served for many years on the Usher Board.
On August 17, 1958, Beatrice Elizabeth Adkins was united in Holy matrimony with Nolan Webster, Sr. in Ocala, Florida. Their union was blessed with five children: four sons and one daughter.
Beatrice was employed by Marion Community Hospital as a private duty nurse’s aide for more than twenty years and before retiring. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
On March 22, 2022, Beatrice answered the Master’s call and went to be with God. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Obadiah Adkins and Eloise Cunningham-Summers; husband, Nolan Webster, Sr.; daughter, Latrice Nolay; sister, Mary Tindal and her brother in law, Reverend Isaiah Tindal, Sr.
Beatrice is survived by her sons, Nolan L. Webster, Jr. (Phyllis) and David L. Webster both of Ocala, Kerry L. Webster of Washington, DC and Keith L. Webster (Shelia) of Ocala; grandchildren, Marcus Jordan, Sha’tara and David Webster, Jr. all of Ocala, Adrian Webster of Maryland and Keeyah of Tallahassee; nieces, Tina Brito of Ocala, LaShun (Doc) of Cibolo, Texas and Sara Williams (Stephen); Nephews, Isaiah Tindal Jr. and Manuel Webster, III of Ocala, devoted friend, Gracie Bradshaw of Ocala; a host of cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, FL 34475.
Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Beatrice E. Webster will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00AM at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 2701 SE 73rd St, Ocala, FL 34480.
