Annie P. Sweet was born on October 12, 1946, to Ada Braxton and James Jones in Ocala, Florida.
Annie received her formal education from the public schools in Marion. She attended Fessenden High School and later received her GED.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was united with New Hope Baptist Church.
On May 6, 1976, Annie P. Nelson was united in Holy matrimony to Bunion Sweet and their union was blessed with three children.
Annie was employed in the food service industry at a hospital in Ocala and in Miami where she retired.
On February 18, 2024, Annie answered the Master’s call and went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Annie’s precious memories will be cherished by her husband, Bunion Sweet; three sons, Donald Smith (Carnetra), Kirk Smith (Adrian) and Anthony Smith (Wanda); brother, Hubert Barnard (Ira); several grands and great grandchildren; sister cousin, Beverly Braxton; other relatives and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00am at New Hope Memorial Garden, 8900 NE 27th Terr., Anthony, FL 32617.
