Annie Williams James

ANNIE ELOIS WILLIAMS was born on JUNE 14, 1950, to Willie Williams and Eartha Mae Williams in Ocala, FL.

Annie James   received her formal education at Howard High School in Ocala, Fl. She furthered her education at Nova Southern with Bachelor's in Education.

Annie James   accepted Christ as her Savior in 1988 at the age of 48 and was united with 27TH Church of Christ.

She was employed by Marion County School System as a Critical Thinking Teacher for 34 years retired 2022.

 In her leisure time she enjoyed Garage sales, shopping, shopping, and more shopping.      

Annie James departed this life on September 1, 2025. She was preceded in death by both of her parents: mom Eartha Mae Williams, dad Willie Williams, sister Betty Marsh, brothers Arvin Williams, Edward Williams, Paris Vereen, and Maurice Williams.                  

She leaves to cherish her memories, son: Courtney James (Kari); daughter: Tera Young; grand kids: Lamariel James, Nailah James, Nyree James, Courtney James Jr, Makhi James, Jarmaine Oliver, Jazzmine Oliver, Tamika Mozell, Jackirea Watkins; great grands: Jakari Watkins, Jarionna Bess, Kaleelah Muwwakkil, Kaiden Muwwakkil, Ja'Coby Oliver, Jamire Oliver; three brothers: LaVon Vereen, Willie Williams, Jr., and Beauford Williams; two sisters: Loretta James and Mary Alice Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday September 12, 2025, at 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00am, Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th St, Ocala, FL 34471.
