Andrew Harris Obituary

Andrew Harris was born on April 4,1945, in Clarksdale Mississippi, to the late Frank and Mary Harris.

Andrew worked as a roofer throughout his life, a trade he took great pride in. Beyond his work, he cherished time with his family—taking them on summer vacations, fishing trips to the Everglades, fruit-picking outings, barbecuing, and family dinners at places like Lums. He also loved drive-in movies, making memories that his children will forever hold dear.

He proceeds in death with his three brothers: Peter Lee , Robert Roberson, and Frank Harris.

Andrew is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Ella Mae Harris, and their seven children: Macon Harris (Angie), Gregory Harris, Denise Harris, Sandy Harris, Charles Harris, Ronnie Harris, and Leon Harris. His surviving brother William “Bill” Harris (Eunice) of Chicago.  His surviving sisters  Emma McNeely, Odessa Flagg, Theresa Houston, Ruthie Coward, all of Milwaukee, WI and Cora Blakey of Las Vegas.

His legacy is one of love, faith, perseverance, and family. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
