Amari Monroe Leahmon
Born November 27, 2016, in Gainesville, Florida to Sumiko D. Leahmon.
Amari was affectionately called ‘Handsome” by his mom. He passed away on March 28, 2020 in her embrace.
Despite his short time on earth he was loved and brought immense joy to those around him. He always wore a smile on his face but had no trouble letting you know how he felt about anything. He loved the sound the big trucks would make when coming to pick up garbage, Collection day became his favorite day of the week.
He loved playing with cars, choo choo trains and watching Lighting McQueen; baking cookies with momma and her big hugs. Handsome also loved playing on his tablet and watching kid’s youtube was one of his favorite things to do.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Patty Josephine Leahmon and Monroe Leahmon
Amari leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Sumiko Leahmon; Ammique “ His Mique” Grant his aunts, Renea “Titi Nea” Leahmon and Zekeya “Tit” Leahmon (Warnell Croskey); Aunt Becca and the crew, an a host of cousins, other relatives and friends everywhere.

A Celebration of Life for Amari M. Leahmon, will be Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 11:00am at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 SW College Road. Ocala, FL. 34474 Ocala, Fl.
