"After while it will all be over, after while the sun gone shine.
After while dark clouds will pass over, then we'll shout hallelujah after a while".
Oh, sometimes my cup is bitter, O, so bitter it makes me cry
through my tears I call on Jesus, He will make it all right after a while.
Alnora Smith McFadden was born on April 13, 1958, to William Smith and Clydell Ashwood in Fairfield, Florida.
She received her formal education in the Marion County Public School system attending North Marion High School in Sparr.
She was married to the late Willie McFadden in Ocala, Florida. No children were born to this union. Alnora was devoted to her family and was adored by her friends and all who encountered her.
To those I love and those that loved me:
If you could see me now, you wouldn't shed a tear. Though you may not understand why I'm no longer here. Remember my spirit, that's the real me. I'm still very much alive, oh, if you could only see! I've beheld our father's face. I've touched my Savior's hand. The angels all rejoiced as I entered the Promised Land. Beyond the gates of pearl, I walk on golden streets. I've touched the walls of jasper, dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words, nothing can compare. I've even seen your mansion; someday I will meet you there. Allow Jesus to be your guide, His Word will show you the way. So, please, don't cry! We will meet again someday!
After 66 years of laboring and toiling on this side, Alnora heard the Master’s call on Saturday, September 7, 2024, and went home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clydell Ashwood, her father, William Smith, her husband, Willie McFadden, and her uncle, James Jackson.
Alnora leaves five sisters to cherish her memories; Betty Smith, Barbara Smith, Degloria Blunt, Carolyn Jenkins and Gloria Smith; one niece, Latonia Blunt; and four nephews, Charles Blunt, Timothy Jones, Keyaju Calvin and Kezira Calvin; and a host other relatives and friends.
We are all placed in this world just for a limited time, and with the breath of an infant begins the race to the grave. It's a race that each of us must run, soon or later.
