Willie Mae Peeples

Peeples, Willie Mae,  born November 1, 1949 to Bettye Mae Gaines and Marcellus Gaines, Sr. in Ocala, Florida.

Willie Mae was educated in the Public Schools of Marion County graduating from Howard High School class of 1967 later attending Cosmetology Schools.

She was employed for eleven years by the Marion County Schools in the Food Service Industry until she retired.

Willie Mae loved to write, visit the sick and children and served as Grandma to the children of Evergreen Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her son Bobby Lee, her parents Bettye Mae and Marcellus Gaines, Sr.; brother, Thomas Gaines and her sister Bettye Barbara Gaines.

Willie Mae would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call for an appointment that she could not refuse. She will not be returning. A reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. This mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing to her heart’s content. Music, Laughter and Love are guaranteed, the food is delicious and she will never gain an ounce. She is awaiting the Crowing of The King!

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children; Markiest Lee, Sr. (Gewonder) of Tampa, Emmet Peeples and Pam Green;  sister; Constance Fields (Lester); brother; Marcellus Gaines Jr. (Ollie); sister in law; Doris Gaines; Grandchildren; Joshua Lee, Theresa Lee, Rashada Hayes (Darius), Markiest Lee (Shauntivia), Destiny Lee, Isaiah Lee, Jermicia Lee, Savon Woods, Lexy Brisbon and Denicia Brisbon and five great grand children, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Public Viewing will be on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 12 noon until 6:00pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Florida.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at United Holiness Church of Christ Deliverance Center, 1642 NW 3rd Street Ocala, FL 34475

Apostle Grant Wilkerson, Pastor and Eulogist. Final Interment will be at Chestnut Cemetery, Ocala, FL.
