On July 22, 1966, Richard Pierson and Mary Jean Washington welcomed a beautiful daughter into the world and named her Jacqueline Diane.

Jackie was educated in Marion County Public Schools and graduated from Vanguard High School in 1984. She continued her education at Central Florida Community College and earned multiple degrees and specializations in the medical field. She found her true passion in    taking care of people with physical and intellectual disabilities. She worked for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities for more than fifteen years. She would eventually open and manage her own group homes and provide care for dozens of people throughout her life.

Jackie was uplifting, spiritual, and God-fearing. She was baptized at Saint City Church of God where she worshipped and served in many capacities, including helping on the Board of Special Events and other committees.

She met and married Lawrence Stewart, with whom she shared the love and care for five children: Kimberly Brown, James Moore III, Kelvin Gaines, Jr., Arthur Hill, and Titanna McGill.  Jackie was joyful, caring, and outgoing.  She enjoyed shopping, fine wine, theme parks, traveling, quality time with family and friends, and more shopping.

Jackie showed love and compassion to everyone she encountered and she had a heart of gold. She leaves to cherish her memories:  husband: Lawrence Stewart; two daughters: Kimberly Brown and Titanna McGill; three sons: James Moore III, Kelvin Gaines, Jr., and Arthur Hill; four sisters: Patricia (Ricky) Peacock, Marsha (Eddie) Green, Tawanda Dowdy, and Sharon Pierson; two brothers: Louis Jacobs and David Jacobs; six grandchildren: Ahnistee Brown, Jeni Moore, James Moore IV, Mylondon Brown-Scott, Mah’rahzi McGill, and Jayceon Moore; one god-son: Zacchaeus Ortiz; two sisters-in-law: Lillie Johnson and Robin Robertson; two brothers-in-law: Roy Lee Robertson and Flozzel Alexander; two god-sisters: Shonna Ortiz and Sherry Mack; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Willie Cecil Jacobs, Jr
