Joel Nathan King

Joel Nathan “Joe” King was called to eternal life on Thursday, March 14, 2024.  He has gracefully entered the reunion with his family and friends.  He was born in Ocala, Florida on September 02, 1962 to the late Elgray King Jr., and Lovenia Ruth-King. 

Joel received his formal education in the public schools of Marion County and graduated from Lake Weir High School.  (Class of 81)

He was employed at Certified Grocers and later became a self-employed auto mechanic. 

He was preceded in death by his father: Elgray King Jr., his paternal grandparents: Elgray King Sr., and Gladdis King.  His maternal grandparents: Amy Ruth and Iris Little-Monts.  His brother: Gregory King and a host of aunts and uncles. 

Cherishing the loving memories of Joel’s life are his mother: Louvenia Ruth-King, sister: Adrianne King, brother: Andre King, nephews: Terrance Brewton, and Javon King, nieces: Adrian King, and Tiffany King, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.
