Forshee, Rosetta Cohen, 69

Born, April 2, 1948 to the late Laura Smith Harshey and Jeremiah Cohen in Zuber, FL.

Rosetta received her formal education in the Marion County School System, graduating from Fessenden High School in 1966. She earned an AA Degree in Special Education.

She accepted Christ at an early age as was a devoted member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Summerfield. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Married, Simon Forshee and was blessed with four wonderful children.

Employed for 20 plus year in the Marion School System, later retiring as a School Bus Driver.

Rosetta loved family and friends and had a passion for writing.

Rosetta was preceded in death by three siblings, Jerome and Jeriah Cohen and Demeturis Harshey.

To remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love   for life, family and friends are: her husband of  49 years, Simon Forshee; son, Rodrick V. Snow, daughters, Tara     Forshee-Parrott, Tamika Gadson (Dmarius), and Simone  Forshee;  siblings, Carolyn E. Shuman (Kenneth), Efird L. Wright, Jr.,  Cila Fay Wright (J.D.), Lisa Y. Wright, Lorne A. Harshey (Tracie), Michael F. Harshey (Teresa) , Terri L. Smith (Carl), Sanche Jackson (Rodney), Sherite Thomas,  Angel Brown, Andrea Mitchell (Roosevelt), and Tyrrell  Deason; grandchildren,  Rodrick D. Snow, Shawnta Snow, Torri Campbell, Trey Gadson, Jaylon Gadson, Amiyah Gadson and Jahzara Thomas, a host of spiritual grandchildren and great grands, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
