Follins, Evelyn Ruth, 88

Mother Evelyn Follins was born on September 27, 1929 in Citra, Florida. On November 27, Mother Follins was called home to be with her Heavenly Father. She attended school through the Marion County School system. Mother Follins was active member of Covenant Outreach Ministries.  Mother Follins was employed by Don’s Smorgasbord and O’Neal Brothers as a cook for many years. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and volunteering at Marion Senior Services.

Mother Follins leave to cherish her loving memories: five children: Brenda (Ronald) Graham Sr., Pam Shelton, Vanessa Lynn (C.C) Follins-Williams, Nedra N. Vereen-Monroe. Johnathan Scriven; two godsons: Romeo Kinsler and Gregory marc Means; three sisters: Annie Lee Thompson, May Francis(Freddie) Howell, and Mildred (Jerry) Herring; one daughter-in-law: Annette Follins; 19 grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren; a special friend Wanda Penuel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Public viewing will be held on December 8, 2017 at 12 noon until 6pm at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Florida. Funeral Service will be on December 9, 2017 at 11:00am at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 55 SW 3rd Ave, Ocala. FL, Rev. Dr. Lorenzo Edwards, Pastor.
